Starting January 6, the Department of Development Services’ Building Division will conduct inspections on Saturdays for certain types of residential projects between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The inclusion of Saturday inspections is to benefit homeowners who cannot be present for the inspection due to work.
The construction scope for which inspections may be scheduled on Saturdays includes the following:
Inspections can be scheduled by calling the Development Services’ Building Division Permit Application Center at 455-3000. Press “1” for inspections, followed by “0” to speak with an operator. Please note that Saturday inspection requests can only be scheduled through an operator, as the service is not available through the telephone or online (Internet) scheduling services.
